YAY! Who doesn't love ice cream. I'm starting to see that working in this particular building has it's perks. The company that owns the building had an ice cream day today. Everyone who worked in the building got a coupon on their desk yesterday morning to be redeemed today for Baskin Robbins ice cream! IT WAS SO GOOD. A really nice treat too.
The other perk of the building is that I have access to the consierge. This lady can get me tickets to whatever shows I want to see. She's employed by the building owner for those of you who don't know what a consierge is. She also sends out newsletters to all the building staff when tickets are available and lets them know what shows and how much they cost. Last week she sent me a list of concerts such as Coldplay, Rolling Stones, U2, Avril Lavigne and Bruce Springsteen. I would love to see U2 but the tickets were $200 and up! Hopefully in the future I'll be able to take advantage of this service.
Auntie Carol and I had pizza for dinner tonight. It was a little different than I have ever had but it was good. She took a pizza shell and we put tomato, red pepper, green onion and brie cheese on it. We had actually bought ham too but we forgot it was in the fridge!
I designated Thursday as my laundry day so Auntie Carol showed me how to use the washer and dryer and I was off doing that while I checked email etc.
